Poplin's has collected some interesting data on
Nathan Poplin. Nathan shows up in the
household of David and Milla Poplin from the
1850 census in house number 917 (as visited, not
an address), Albemarle District #9.
In 1860 he is listed in the Jacob Moose house.
He married Jacob Moose's daughter Sarah. In
1870 he is on his own property in house number 19 when S.H. & W.H. Poplin are in house numbers 15 &
16. John believes Nathan Poplin and Jeremiah
Poplin even though there is some distance between
Nathan's home and where Jeremiah is buried.

photographically recording Poplin, Hatley and other surname gravestones.
